Back in 2010 at a performance in St Pauli's Indra club Mark Rozzo, New York Times and Vanity Fair journalist and frontman of Bambi Kino, made a spin on the famous quote by John Lennon "I was born in Liverpool but grew up in Hamburg" saying ": "Bambi Kino was born in New York but grew up in Hamburg" The quartet Bambi Kino which also includes high profile musicians Erik Paparazzi (Cat Power, Denny Laine), Doug Gillard (Ex-Guided by Voices, NadaSurf) and Ira Elliot (Nada Surf) - formed in New York and named after the famous
Cinema, which was the Beatles' first home on the Reeperbahn at the beginning of the 1960s. Bambi Kino fulfilled a dream by celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles in Hamburg
playing the original "Black Leather Set" at Club Indra in 2010. For the 60th anniversary of the first Beatles album, Bambi Kino return to the original Beatles locations for the COME TOGETHER Experience to present an exclusive musical experience.
